| Note for ATC Mentors and Senior Radar Controllers | |

Don't know about anyone else but I've had a few requests now to mentor people on Radar- on the previous training structure this was something that we never really did so its all fairly subjective, however I was wondering if mentors, and senior controllers wishing to mentor could post which airports they are happy to mentor at. Unlike Ground and Tower where procedure remains the same, I think a little bit of local knowledge goes a long was for radar. Doing this just lets us point people to the person with the most knowledge on an airfield. Hope this makes sense :) So I would say my airports are: Stansted Gatwick Heathrow City Bristol |

Think we might have to get the booking system back in place, but with out the requirement, so some people (if they want to) can follow a proper sytem and have sessions, and others can just do what theyre doing now. What are your thoughts guys? |
