Just got myself the Aerosoft Airbus X but I have a major problem. My throttle doesn't work! I can reverse it but I just can't move it forward, anybody that own this aircraft? I've tried to read on the aerosoft's forums but they only say that I need the latest FSUIPC and a joystick with throttle. I have FSUIPC 4.60 which I think is the newest and the saitek pro flight system, but it still doesn't work, any ideas guys? This aircraft costed me around 39£ and I don't want it to be wasted money!

It's fine for me, make sure you do have the latest FSUIPC with a hardware throttle (keys apparently don't work so Aerosoft say). Try re-calibrating or something. Alot of people have had problems but it worked fine for me. Still don't like the plane though, eye-candy only is what you get ;)

Remember in an airbus the throttle is unique.

You don't "engage" A/T. It's never engaged, you can only use manual thrust under 60%. Above 60& is the C/L indent which is the A/T mode for 'commanded speed'. The next one up is FLEX to set the FLEX temperature (similar to the EPR mode on the 757), Then the TOGA (TOGA thrust, full power).

Try posting over at their forums if calibrating don't work.

I am also using the saitek pro yoke + quadrant. No problems here, have you tried calibrating using FSUIPC not FSX default controls menu? (Only works with a registered FSUIPC).

Got all the Service Packs / Patches?

Dunno if so. I'd post over at their forums.

I don't have the plane installed anymore due to some multiplayer issues anyway, and the fact it's a default plane with a makeover :p Anyway- hope you can get it fixed.

Doesn't it cost to register a copy of FSUIPC? I've sent some benchmark files to aerosofts support mail so hopefully it'll be fixed!
