New to fsopen - not new to FSX. Very excited about finding this site. Hosting ATC sessions on FSX regularly and was looking for more options, especially an robot chat. Please give advice on setting this up correctly so that commands will work. Running XP on the FSX server. Need to know router and system settings that will allow the robot to work. Right now it will not auto post when new people join the session nor do any commands work. Thank you in advance for any help offered |

As per instructions on the web site, commands will not work on the the server. Are you testing commands from another pc connected to the session you are hosting? |

Yes I'm testing commands from another computer. I have more details after playing with it some more. If a command is typed from a player or another computer the server will not auto reply unless you control V manually in the chat box on the server, then the command will show up in the chat box with the correct action. Does the server chat box need to be attended manually? If not what are your suggestions? Thanks for your time, David |
| Dave Wave 30th Mar 2011 19:15:06 | OK, the software works by using a win api call. In effect the host software is simulating pasting into the fsx window. If you need to be running under an account with administrator privellages and have user account control turned off (Or low in win7)
