Thank you to all those pilots who flew this evening.
Those who passed the assessments are as follows:

Andy Mooring – ATCO4 (Aerodrome Controller)
John Godfrey – ATCO4 (Aerodrome Controller and Aerodrome Mentor)
Laurence Woodside – ATCO3 (Radar Approach Controller and Aerodrome Mentor)

Unfortunately we were unable to assess three other controllers so these are the only passes for the moment.

Well done to those controllers and good luck in event controlling.

Any member of FSOpen wishing to join the ATC Team should refer to www.fsopen.co.uk/atc for everything you need to know.

Once again, Well done!

A few short months ago (nine to be precise)I knew nothing about FSX, let alone ATC, indeed I found I would shy away from ATC and controlled airspace! However, with the friendly and helpful advice from the guys not only did I begin to fly more and more within multiplayer (and talk to ATC), I now find myself enjoying Controlling as much as Flying.

The training syllabus for Air Traffic Control within Fsopen is second to none and the manuals produced by our own Mick McG are, without doubt, the best reference information for both pilot and student controller for simulator based ATC on the web. Whilst I realise that not everyone might have an interest in learning ATC , without ATC our flying experience is the much poorer.

At Fsopen we encourage everyone to try ATC at any time and any location. If you find that you like controlling then our training syllabus is the perfect environment to learn more about the fascinating world of Air Traffic Control.

Congratulations to the latest crop of ATCOs and a big deal of thanks to the people who trained them.
