IFly 737NG STAR problem

Hi,

I don't usually have any problems with STARs but with the 737NG some strange things happen while programming that I thought maybe some of you guys have the answers to. I will show you my problems with pictures and text. This flight is supposed to be from ESMQ (Kalmar in Sweden) to ESSA (Stockholm-Arlanda).
This is the STAR "TRS2N" (Trosa 2N) at ESSA. You can find this chart here: http://www.lfv.se/AIP/AD/AD%202/ESSA/ES_AD_2_ESSA_4_69_en.pdf
I've marked it with RED.
Anyway, take a look at the chart and then the following pictures from the 737 when I'm programming the FMC...

First of all, when I program the route I fill in the START location and the END location (ESMQ-ESSA) and then I click "next page" to fill in all the waypoints. As you can see to the right of the picture I've already filled in MOVIS and TRS as this was just a test flight. MOVIS is for the departure from ESMQ and then TRS as the arrival at ESSA. On all my other aircraft (PMDG 747, QW 757 and Wilco 737) It doesn't end with TRS when I've filled it in in the FMC as a waypoint, you understand? You can see that there is nothing between TRS and ESSA, why?
So therefore I fill in ESSA in my LEGS page and fill in the speed and altitude 142/0056 or whatever it is...
Then it looks like this:

So now I wan't to program the STAR in this test flight.
I just do it the most common way and go to DEP/ARR and select runway 19R at ESSA and then the arrival TRS2N.
And it ends up with two TRS (VOR) waypoint with a discontinuity between them, easily fixed by deleting one and the moving the other one in to the hole.
You can on the top of the ND that the STAR is a mess. From here it may look correct but it is not..
So after some manually deleting waypoints and adding by looking at the chart I end up with this:

Looks great doesn't it? But it's a lot of work just to create an standrard arrival. So what am I doing wrong?

If I just get a hold of this the IFly 737NG is absolutely great and I consider it as a competitor to the PMDG 737NGX.

Hope you have any soulutions to my problems
Thank you in advance

Hi, on the 757/767 we have to do ALOT of work to set up the STAR, example is birmingham, the direct arrival after the STAR, and sometimes the STAR itself just messes up. The EHSI magneta route (Active route) is incorrect, but the plane flies the correct route. I think it might just be a bug, the iFly is quite new after all. Not all STARs are complete just by selecting them in the FMC, this is common in real life too. That's why we do our approach briefing about 100nm BEFORE T/D to make sure we have the right approach installed. (Also why we have an AIRBAG checklist just before the IAF). I think it's just something you have to live with. I never got this on the MD-11 or 747. But it is quite common on the old 767 flightdeck. However, generally, the STAR you get from the FMC is usually correct, aslong as you have an updated AIRAC. It will 'work' in busy airspace, but for very accurate STARs, you need time to set up, which we just do not have under radar control, so you'll get the STAR from control, jot it in on the FMC and leave it as that. We do not usually edit the STAR unless there's some big mistake. Usually altitude/speed restrictions or missing (important) waypoints. We just check that over once we have jotted it into the FMC. We're usually too busy with checklists, the cabin and ATC to be really accurate. Flying on FSopen or mainly uncontrolled airspace, you can be as accurate as you like, but just remember SIDs and STARs aren't usually 100% accurate, they usually require some editing in some way. Definately in the 767. So in short, it's something you have to live with. Just a tip, if flying into controlled airspace, do NOT do any STAR editing until you have been given the clearence, most of the time, radar will vector you, and you have done all that for nothing, that is why we just leave the default STAR in place until we have confirmed the approach we will be taking.

i didn't put trs in the route just put the start and end airport in then the star in and it then put trs in auto with no disconuity and the approach was as you illustrated.
