Laurence Woodside   6th Sep 2011 19:18:55 | Can I once again reiterate the policy of FSOpen on pirated software.
Do NOT use it in the FSOpen server. All software manufacture’s have created aspects to protect their products against thieves. This includes usage within multi-player sessions causing similar type aircraft and complex payware aircraft to be ejected from the session and the server itself to malfunction. Quite apart from the fact it is Illegal, it is very frustrating for members who have paid for the software to find themselves being continually ejected from the session. It is not hard to detect players who are using pirated software, please do not force me to take harsher measures. DO NOT USE PIRATED ILLEGAL SOFTWARE IN THE FSOPEN SERVER. |

Don't know if its connected, but the last three afternoons the server has gone down. Not making any accusations of course, but thought I'd bump this post for those who have joined since and may not have seen it. |

Dave has PUT A PROGRAM ON THE SERVER TO MONITOR PLANE INPUT, SO IF YOU GO ABOVE A CERTAIN DOWNLOAD FIGURE IN THE SERVER IT WILL KICK YOU. SO THE MANAGERS WILL NOT HAVE TO QUESTION ANYONE AS THE SERVER WILL DO IT FOR US AUTOMATICALLY the main reason for the server going down is game spy the server relies on this for the bot.& this does not throw you out of the game until we reset it & i try to do this with as little inconvenience to the pilots as possible. |
