Mick McG 4th Oct 2011 19:28:45	lol. Like that one Joe. Reminds me of a story I heard about an old RAF jet crew years ago. Picture the scene... General handling sortie in a Meteor (first generation jet fighter circa 1949). Pilot's mic jack got pulled out as he was reaching for another switch (Meteor cockpit was an ergonomic nightmare); Navigator saw pilot slumped in front seat, frantically called his name - no reply - reached forward and shook pilot violently. Pilot (unable to hear navigators frantic calls) thought Navigator was going mad and grabs nav's arm to protect himself. Fight breaks out! The other version of this story is the nav bangs out leaving the pilot to fly home on his own. Can't vouch for the truth of either version but it makes me smile each time I'm reminded of it.
