Hello,

I was going to learn with CTC Wings. I changed my mind. Couple of reasons really. A) Over Priced B)All Done In One Go.

I attended a couple of conventions at Heathrow Airport and after talking to real pilots they said that doing it in whats known as a Modular course. A course by which you can switch between different school to do different Licences. PPL at Loacation 1 and CPL done at Location 2. Some flight schools may be better at some places than others!

Doing an intergrated course (CTC Wings) will cost about £120 thousand! and your rushed. Doing it modular will cost you £50 thousand and you can do it as you wish. Most of your flighing with CTC wings will be done at their camp in New Zeland. Chances are our weather is worse than that. A Pilot for Virgin at Heathrow said to me "Why Train To Be A Snow Plow Driver In Egypt". Sort of the same principle

I dont want to put you off of it. If its what you want to do then go with it. Its deffinatly worth looking into in more detail though if you ask me!

Enjoy and Good Luck

Joe :)
