| Update to standand FSX GPS so it displays aircraft around you in real time. | |
Geoff Server ![]() 28th Dec 2011 11:26:27 | We have posted this before but just in case there is some new players and there is, you can modify the GSP diplay so it will display aircraft around you (radar)in realtime.
Step#2: Install the modified files Into the main FSX installation folder, locate the "Gauge" folder: inside there is a file called "fs9gps.cab". Rename it to "fs9gps.org.cab". Now you have to choose which radar type you want. Options 1 If you want to see the aircrafts displayed as dots with a trail: copy the file "fs9gps_TAIL.cab" into the "Gauge" folder and rename it to "fs9gps.cab". Option 2 If you want to see the aircrafts displayed as diamonds with a speed line: copy the file "fs9gps_DIAMOND.cab" into the "Gauge" folder and rename it to "fs9gps.cab". Thats it. Files can be found here: http://www.4shared.com/file/uHMNM3dQ/fs9gps_DIAMOND.html http://www.4shared.com/file/gpKmPg9A/fs9gps_TAIL.html |
Geoff Server ![]() 29th Dec 2011 19:51:47 | I have had a comment that the instructions are a bit difficult to understand on the above post so here is the idiot proof method:
Download the file from here and save it to your desktop. http://www.4shared.com/file/cnVrDK73/fs9gps.html Do not unzip it just move it to your Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Gauges folder and overwite the file that is there.. Thats it! have fun... Geoff |
