| My first ever trip to Aerosofts' Gibraltar airport. | |
Clive Northrop ![]() 15th Mar 2012 19:14:04 | Well this evenings trip was very pleasent, thanks guys. Here's some shots of the trip (Faro to Gibaltar and return to Faro), flying in the PMDG Jetstream J41.
Here showing the ice forming on the wings and prop nosecap!
and now all clear of ice.
Gibraltar airport ahead!
And closing...
Too high on approach... Going around! Nice view though.
okay we'll land the other end...
Concrete runway! concrete everywhere.
Follow me car on the way to guide me in (Ground Services X).
I think the fuel truck and the catering people are in a race to the plane!
And now the pushback for the return trip to Faro.
And lineup for takeoff... Left turn climbout...
Still climbing... and now the approach for Faro...
Snap!
The end of a great afternoons flying! Thanks Andy for the ATC. |
John Elliott 15th Mar 2012 19:37:21 | Nice photos.. it is definitely one of the best sceneries out there. Love the way the traffic stops when you're taxying near the road or landing/taking off. They even have the red double decker buses as part of the traffic set. Then there's the seagulls... the sounds ... the fab approach onto 09 ... just brilliant all round really... is a must-have ! |
