Tonight is a PRO ATC Night. Its Short Notice I Know But Anyway: The Two Airports That Will Be Manned By Only ATCO Rated Members Will Be - London Gatwick (EGKK) And - Edinburgh (EGPH) For Any ATCOS That Wish To Control At Either Of The Two Airfields, Please Speak To Either Joe Clifford Or Christian Smith to see what Positions Are Available. Dont BE Scared If You Aren't Familiar With The Field, We Will Help You out! Birmingham Airport Will Also Be Open. A VAFS Flight for the 1900C has been put on to both EGKK or EGPH. Birmingham Will Not Be ATCO Restricted, so anyone wishing to Control May Do So At Birmingham. ------------------------------------------------------ VAFS And Routes Gordon Has Also Put On VAFS Routes For the 737 and 747 between EGKK & EGPH with a return flight aswell. These Fligts Can By Found By Callsign EVENT# (Where # Is A Number) ------------------------------------------------------ Realism To Try And Keep It As Realistic As Possible, For the pilots that can, we ask that you fly routes from the Standard Routing Document. I Have included these below. For those that are not comfortable with routes and would like to fly Direct THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM Please Feel Free To Do So! Both Airports Will Be Covered From The Ground, All The Way Up To Area Control. The Controller Will Advise You Of Which Frequency You Should Be On And When To Change. Please File A Flight Plan! This is very important in order for the ATCs' to handle traffic effectivly. ------------------------------------------------------ Flight Plans SID's and STARS Are Not compulsory, however, I have included them for those that wish to fly them. This also applys with Airways, you do Not have to follow them. Gatwick to Edinburgh: EGKK LAM L10 BPK N601 MARGO TWEED1A EGPH Edinburgh to Gatwick: EGPH DCS N615 HON N859 KIDLI WILLO3B EGKK For Those Wishing To Create Routes To Be Imported Into FSX You Can Use http://www.simroutes.com/fb2/ParseRoute.aspx Obviously You Can Use Others But This Is A Free Online One That I Am Awear Of ------------------------------------------------------ Airport Infomation Depending On Weather Conditions Will Depend On The Active Runway and SID. This Will All Be Provided In The ATIS Reports. Please Take A Listen To Them As It Will Save The ATC Having to Tell You. The Weather Conditions Will Not Change During The Evening To Take A Listen To Both Before You Depart.
