Karl Arney ![]() 28th Jun 2012 10:47:04 | Hi all,
I put advanced system care by iorbt on my machine a few months ago, but never purchased a licence until last week. Since upgrading, my machine has lost the will to live. It struggles to open programs, it's supposed "Disk Cleanup" does absolutely nothing and as for the built in "Active Boost"? Waste of time. So if you have this program and consider upgrading it, don't. Stick with Security essentials and something like CCleaner, it will save you serious amounts of trouble... |

I just purchased this program; http://pc-system-utilities-software-review.toptenreviews.com/advanced-system-optimizer-review.html I am quiet impressed so far... it looks after everything! |
Geoff Server ![]() 28th Jun 2012 12:59:27 | I have been using the full pro version for over two years and it has been great to use and has speeded up my programs/PC and kept my hard disks unfragmented, registry great really well. It is a great utility can't see why you are having trouble.
Very curious why you purchesed it because the free version does almost all the same functions and if that worked which it must have for you to purchase it (disc clean up is in the free version). Then why when you purchase it does it suddenly not work? Best bet before telling everyone it is a "waist of time" in the forum is to contact Iobit and see what might be wrong. Let us all know the outcome to whats happened so we can all be aware of it. Happy flying. |

Karl Arney ![]() 28th Jun 2012 22:24:47 | Geoff,
I purchased it simply for the licence for another pc and the extra functionalities, but as soon as it was unlocked, it abused havoc. It's caused many problems with my PMDG, Level D and CLS products. Also, after some more research today, I have now found that in my program shortcuts folder, it has deleted all the shortcuts. I did contact them, and the response I got back was that it's not their product, it is my machine. I have more reason to believe its the product due to the fact that it's done it to both machines. Like Garry Stallard had, I am having a PMDG developer take remote access of my machine tomorrow to try and rectify the problems with my products. It will be interesting to see what he says seeing as the guy who did Gary's machine actually identified ASC as the problem... |
