Dave Charlton![]() ![]() ![]() 28th Dec 2012 13:47:17 | Hi
I have attempted an install of FSOPEN, and nothing is working. I have a home server, so call it PC1 I installed everything needed, and set the router ports. FSOPEN is running, and the status says 'readylistening' however, on your sessions page, my server is not listed On PC2, i started FSX and attempted to connect I tried both the IP address, and the internal network address of PC1, and no sessions are found What is the issue? |
Dave Wave![]() ![]() ![]() 28th Dec 2012 13:55:57 | FSX must be running on the server as well as Open server.
My software sits along side and enhances fsx, it is not a replacement for it. |
Dave Charlton![]() ![]() ![]() 28th Dec 2012 14:04:55 | Ah, ok, i thought the point was I could run FSX on a different PC for flying, leaving the server to host. To have to run FSX twice is not ideal, as my server PC is not powerfull enough to run FSX. it is a simple webserver PC.
