Phil Charnock 21st Feb 2010 00:56:04 | Not sure hoe to say this but this is bugging me. We have been using your 'free' software as part of our online sessions.Tonight yeat again our pilots where licked one by one. Untill no one was left. This isnt a normal gamespy trait. Does this have anyhing to do with the FSOPEN software??????? |
Dave Wave ![]() 21st Feb 2010 02:10:00 | Hi Phil,
(To other readers I've assumed that Phil is one of our members who is using the FSopen host Lite software) I can confirm that the software does not 'lick' players and there is no such command as yet available although you have got me thinking. The FSopen software has the facility to kick players for 2 reasons. 1. If spawing in a glider, extra, F18's etc then a kick will be issued on spawning depending on the options set on the host. 2. If an admin (that can only be granted by the host initially then other admins) issues a !kick command in chat. Either way check chat to see if kick has been initiated. If players are leaving pretty much one after another then this is likely because the fsx host has not seen a network packet from the player (or vice versa) for 90 seconds. You can change this setting in network properties but I'd advise against it. This could be due to network issues or a fault within the fsx server itself or something else. I can also confirm the software is 'free' and will remain 'free' and if you have any suggestions for enhancments then let me know and I might do that for 'free' as well. |
