Fsopens route-finder and FSbuild (FMC)

Hello Folks,

I just wanted to comment on a couple of things that have really helped with my simming recently. Firstly, I wanted to say thanks very much for the 'route finder section' in the 'info' menu (I think it's there!?). I have found it really helpful. So thanks for the resource.

Secondly, and I'm sorry if there are already threads about this on the forum, but I recently discovered a programme called FSbuild. For those who don’t know this programme is really good at programming the FMC. Fsbuild will plan/build your route and then you can save it straight into say a PDMG 747 or F1 ATR72 500 that uses an FMC. The flight data/ info is automatically ready to go in the FMC (with a bit button pressing that is).

From what I can see it's compatible with fs 2004/9/fsx (+older fs versions I think). It can build routes/F/plans in seconds (although it may be a little dated at times in terms of the routes it selects)

Anyhows, I'm not an expert with it yet, and I'm sure many of you will use it or something similar already, but I only discovered it the other day and found it really beneficial and wanted to share with those who were not aware of the programme(s).

Cheers Rich

Rich, just so you know the route finder I've added into Pilot assistant uses the same database as the web page you refer too.
