Adam Burke 6th Mar 2010 18:48:40 | Hi all
I am consdering downloading tile poxy but i was wondering are there any better programs and if it effects the fps? Is it fsx with google earth? Thanks |
Dave Wave ![]() 6th Mar 2010 21:41:52 | I think Tile Proxy is the best out there.
So long as you have a quad core it doesn't make much difference to fps apart from a long load time when you first start. You need a fast internet connection to get most out of it. |
Fatih Aydogduoglu ![]() 7th Mar 2010 10:17:25 | I have tried that and it is quite impressive I must say. Cities don't look very nice but especially mountains and country side look almost real. But as Dave said you must have a fast internet connection for the tiles to be loaded fast. |
Andy Paton 7th Mar 2010 13:03:45 | I have tried tileproxy,as Faith says the cities, building are flat,as they are satalite style texture rendered. Its great above 2000ft,flat when on the ground.
