| Mic Problems... | |
Sam Watson 12th Mar 2010 20:23:00 | Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know that over the last couple of weeks I have been having problems with my microphone in the game. Therefore you will not see me for quite a while because I believe I cannot take part in Fsopen.co.uk activities without a mic. I have spoken to some managers about my problems and they recommend getting another headset. So that is what I will attempt to do. If there is any thoughts on this or anyone in Fsopen.co.uk who is extremelly good with mics or wouldn't mind helping me. I would deeply appreciate it if you would let me know on this. Thanks, Sam |

Richard Stuchfield 12th Mar 2010 22:22:53 | To rule out problems with your current mic, I'd suggest borrowing one from a friend to see if that works on your machine. Failing that, you can get headsets with mics from places like Tesco for about £4. I've used one of these and the quality is fine for FsOpen. Without knowing more about what problems you're having, I don't think you're going to get any help. Not sure if it's a technical issue around the PC, your hardware, teamspeak ....
Perhaps you have to make sure you can get the mic working in Windows first - there should be plenty of tutorials on the web on how to set up a mic. Once that's done, it should work straight off in Teamspeak. Richard |
