| Hey im new, and i got some questions | |

I tried to use the PilotAssistant and i pressed to push to talk button and i couldnt find the key that assigns to my left ctrl key on the keyboard? My joystick has around 16 buttons. Another question is: When i have PilotAssistant on my FSX goes nuts and scales down to a 16'' screen while all the other space is black, why is that?

I can't get the push to talk button in Pilot assist to work either. I haven't seen the problem with FSX scaling down. I run both on a 22" widescreen and FSX fills the entire screen. Are you running in full screen? Dave Wave is the guy who wrote the software, if you see him in Teamspeak, see if he can help you out. Richard |

First of all check that you have set teamspeak to PTT using the left control key. To work out what button is pressed use keyboard assignments in fsx. Pick an obscure event like open doors then push the button on your joystick you want to use. You might want to set it for talking? FSX will show you the button number. Don't forget to remove the assignment or your door might open mid-flight! Then just choose this button in pilot assistant. (You need to disable teamspeak sync to change the options) If this doesn't work then try a different joystick number in pilot assistant. Windows seems to randomly assign joystick numbers to every controller attached and I never worked out how to retrieve the names back. Just use trial and error. No idea why your screen should change. Not heard of it happening before and can't think of a reason why it might do that. Catch me in teamspeak and I'll try and sort out for you. |
