Callum Blumire 22nd May 2010 17:21:11 | Can youu not just post a link on the forum please...i don't want any illegal payware thanks though |
Richard Stuchfield 22nd May 2010 22:14:56 | do a search for Vasfmc.
It's free and can run on a separate monitor giving you more space to look out the window. Richard |
Christian Smith ![]() 23rd May 2010 13:44:06 | Yeah I use Vasfmc... needed to pay for some files... all in all cost me about £5 just so it actually had the correct VORs SIDs and STARs, sill doesnt know a few airways though! really really easy to use- none of this programming business, type in your route (or paste) and the plane will follow it! |
Tomasz Kawka 23rd May 2010 20:39:16 | The only thing you need to pay for using VasFmc is new AIRAC files thought. Currently we're on 1005 and it changes every few weeks. That is because in aviation world we have new NDBs VORs new arrival and departure procedures (STARs SIDs), etc.
However VasFMC is a good free one I would strongly recommend using few payware planes with Flight Management Computer build in which gives you closer to real one experience. That are for example PMDG, Wilco products. If you like turboprops I recommend Flight One ATR72 it's a great one. |
