| Amazing free applet thing for FSX with G15 keyboard... | |
Jamie Armstrong  22nd May 2010 19:19:22 | Hey, if there's anyone here with the Logitech G15 keyboard and likes FSX you'll like this...
http://www.team-challenger.com/speedbird/ Its a applet thing, that when you fly on fsx it shows info such as nav/radio frequencies that you've tuned in on the keyboards screen, or even altitude and gear position and much more stuff... its just a really handy thing that say for example maybe your concentrating lots on a approach and cant look down to check your frequencies u can quickly change the display with a single button for your G15 keyboard and it shows everything without having to look down in your virtual cockpit... which sometimes makes you loose your bearings (well for me anyway lol) So yeah, i found it last night and i couldn't get it working... so i was a little annoyed, buts its still in beta stage and more features are gonna be added... I can get it to work, just had to repair the installation (but im using windows 7 so i think my problems were because of compatibility) but i got it working fine now! :D its great! *also another note, you have to sign up on the website, but it only takes like 3 seconds, isn't any hassle really... and to download it you don't go to the downloads section, strangely, (i got lost and couldn't find it on the website) so instead you have to go to the 'forums' on the website and get the link from the news section... i know its annoying, but worth it in the end! So yeah, i thought i should share this with ya's! so if you've got a G15, then at least give it a try! :D Cya later, Jamie. |
